Extreme Scene Clean is a certified and experienced meth residue cleanup company.

The following outline is a general protocol for meth residue clean-up at former lab sites. ESC works with local authorities and county health officials to provide a needed service for owners who have to deal with a contaminated meth lab site cleanup.

Each project is handled individually according to the individual needs and circumstances of the customer.

SITE ASSESSMENT AND METH RESIDUE TESTING

• An ESC certified estimator visits the job site, taking pictures, measuring house and drawing layouts, taking content assessment and noting remediation logistics.

• A written proposal is developed by ESC for meth residue testing by a third party certified lab. Upon acceptance of the proposal by the owner, ESC will perform pre-project tests for methamphetamine residue utilizing gas chromatograpy/mass spectrometry (GC/MS) procedure from a certified lab.

• The results of this testing will determine the specific scope of work and a written proposal outlining our procedures will be submitted for review. Upon acceptance by the owner, the decontamination process begins.

• A detailed work plan is submitted to the owner and copied to the local county health services department.

DECONTAMINATION PROCESS

• ESC technicians suit up in personal protection gear (polypropylene suits and half face respirator with organic vapor cartridge).

• HEPA air scrubbers are installed for continuous air cleaning and fresh air ventilation.

• Contents are cleared off the site and cleaned or disposed of depending on site assessment.

• Construction dumpsters and/or poly lined box vans are used for disposal/transportation of contents.

• Our technicians will HEPA vac, wet wash and wipe walls, ceilings and floors with Fiberlock Shockwave disinfectant. Selective demolition is also an option on certain building materials.

• Air conveyance system including registers and diffusers will be cleaned and disinfected.

POST DECONTAMINATION PROCESS

• Post-project tests will be performed for methamphetamine utilizing gas chromatograpy/mass spectrometry (GC/MS) procedure from a certified lab.

• Upon a successful decontamination project, a close out package will be provided by ESC which includes: daily log sheets, insurance certificates, trauma cleaning certificates, MSDS sheets for chemicals used, third party lab reports of testing results.
